Support for Neurodivergent Youth and Families Through Personalized Therapy and Parent Coaching
Hi there! I’m Diane Boehm. I offer virtual therapy services across the state of Texas. With a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate the challenges of everyday life, I specialize in support for adolescents and parents with neurodivergent diagnoses, such as ADHD.
My career experience in both school counseling and private practice has led me to work with a variety of children, parents and families. While I welcome clients of all backgrounds, I have years of experience and a strong passion for working with adolescent boys. This is often a pivotal time in their emotional and social development. Through therapy, I can help them explore their thoughts and feelings, learn coping skills, and grow into more confident, self-aware young men. The therapeutic process is like a puzzle, where we work as a team to fit the pieces together in a meaningful and effective way, so you and your child can thrive.
My services:
- Activity Therapy: Empowering teens to have self-awareness, gain confidence, and create their unique sense of self.
- Executive Functioning Support: Guiding teens and parents to create self-awareness of their executive functioning capacity and to enhance the skills needed to achieve their goals.
- Parent Support and Coaching: Collaborating with parents through a directive approach to identify current challenges and how to effectively improve systems at home. I work with parents to improve their lifestyle, household systems, and relationship with their children.
- Educational Consultation: Communicating and consulting with parents, school administration, and school counselors to identify appropriate schools and accommodations to best meet the child’s academic, social, and emotional needs.
- 504 Bootcamp: Collaborating and communicating with parents to effectively prepare for their child’s school accommodation meeting (504, SPED, etc.). Guiding parents to gather information, identity areas of concern, advocates for effective accommodations, and develop a concise plan for the meeting.
Whether you’re seeking to:
- Discover understanding and the nuances of neurodivergent disorders (ADHD, autism, learning disabilities)
- Learn executive functioning skills and self-awareness

- Explore your symptoms of anxiety and depression to find hope and fulfillment in your life

My approach:
Whether you are seeking therapy for your child or searching for parenting support and guidance, I work from a mixture of Adlerian and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework. I’m here to help you manage ADHD symptoms, improve focus and organization, or address the emotional challenges that often accompany neurodivergence. My goal is to empower clients to understand themselves better and build meaningful, balanced lives. My approach is rooted in warmth, compassion, structure, and evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual’s unique sittuation. I am only taking virtual sessions.
Additional information:
