I became deeply passionate about counseling, which led me to leave a successful 20-year career as a corporate lawyer to pursue counseling professionally. This is a big part of my life’s journey. I understand that your life experience is unique. My desire is to have a profound understanding of who you are, your experiences, your perspective, and your values. By providing unconditional support and exploring your goals together, it would be an honor to come along side you as you are on your own personal journey.
I promise to treat you with the utmost respect and genuine care while offering a safe space to address the areas of your life that are weighing on you. Cultural humility is a fundamental aspect of my practice, as I actively seek to be aware of and sensitive to your unique cultural identity and background. This includes considering factors such as your racial and ethnic identity, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, physical and intellectual abilities, socioeconomic position, and religious beliefs. I am committed to inclusivity, affirmation, and maintaining a nonjudgmental stance.
I am a graduate student in the Counseling Program at Southern Methodist University, with an expected completion of December 2023. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Nebraska and a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, College of Law.
During my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with friends and family (including my beloved furry kids), engaging with a local animal rescue group, immersing myself in the outdoors, reading, and exploring new destinations through travel.
My rate is $85 for a 50-minute session. Click here to request an appointment.
